Guides

1st Hartfield Guides meet each Thursday evening during the school term. There are currently around 25 guides covering all ages.

Meetings each follow a theme and are led by trained Guiders. During the season, there are several camps, often held with other Guide Companies.

Guides from 1st Hartfield are often selected to represent their Company and County at International Guide camps around the world.

Guides is open to girls from 10-14, with opportunities to become Young Leaders from the age of 15.

1st Hartfield Guides would welcome new girls who are interested to discover more about the world around them and, just as importantly, discover more about themselves. Meetings - Thursday evenings during the school term, from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

The guides meet in Hartfield Village Hall, although some meetings and trips are held elsewhere.

History Group

Many members of the history group have lived in the village all their lives - and their parents and grand-parents before them.

The knowledge of village life over the centuries is shared by the group in a number of excellent publications. Meetings

The group meets most months of the year on the fourth Wednesday of the month at Hartfield Village Hall.

In addition to the indoor meetings, the group also arrange evening historical walks in the local area.

HARTFIELD MUMS AND TOTS

We are a small, friendly group of mums who meet twice a month for tea, chat and play for the little ones. All mums with pre-school children are most welcome. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at The Pavilion, Hartfield Croft between 9:30 and 11:30 am, and the third Friday of every month at St Mary's church, Hartfield from 1:30 – 3:30 pm. So why not come along and try us out, it’s a great way to meet local mums and for your tots to make pre-school friendships.
