Pavilion Project

The internal refurbishment of the Sports Pavilion was completed in 2011 with many improvements made, including new flooring, storage boxes, urinals, kitchen and a refurbished lavatory with wheelchair access. These improvements have been enjoyed and appreciated by users of the Pavilion, particularly the Sports Clubs.

A new calor gas system was installed in 2010 to provide heating and hot water for the new showers and a new referee's shower has been built.

We were delighted to receive a grant from the Wealden Warr Partnership of £6000 to go towards the new kitchen units and appliances and to refurbish the existing lavatory. The money also went towards a new intruder alarm system which has proved to be most effective.

The Town Croft and Parish Assets Committee will continue to review plans to improve the pavilion for the sports clubs and community. The next target is new windows and new roof for which we hope to gain grant funding in due course.
