Goods Yard House is the result of a long-term strategy which provided a site for local affordable housing – Railway Cottages now owned by Town and Country Housing Association and Goods Yard House.
Goods Yard House provides two one-bedroom apartments which are let on shorthold tenancies. When these are available to let the Council advertise on their website and Facebook.

The ground floor of Goods Yard House provides an office for the Parish Council and a purpose-built meeting room for parish council meetings. The meeting room is neutrally decorated with wood effect floors.
The meeting room is available to local organisations and businesses.
Goods Yard House has a host of facilities including: Folding tables and folding seating for 30, wifi and hearing loop, kitchen and tea making facilities, WC including disabled WC, disabled access and reduced costs for local voluntary organisations.
